Re: wip/nagios errors

Hi Florian,
I am not the maintainer of nagios, but I contribute to it. After
some troubleshooting it appears this error is a result of a change in:

        /usr/pkgsrc/mk/install/usergroup

in the main /usr/pkgsrc tree. Update this file, to -current and the
installation will proceed correctly.

I not sure what should be done to maintain backwards compatibility
between wip-current and a branch of /usr/pkgsrc (FWIW my /usr/pkgsrc is
currently branch-2005Q2).

        Thanks.

        - Scott

hi,

in the sourceforge archives I didn't get any result's for 'nagios', so
I just hope this hasn't come up yet.

during 'make package' I got various errors from the install script,
also I'm about unhappy about all the users it tries to create.
I don't really see a reason for more than a low-privileged user 'nagios' :)

I'd be glad if someone told me how to find the maintainer for this package,
so I can give him more input for debugging. (If needed)
