Re: PHP modules broken?

Ok, so that did not bring me the result I had hoped for.
I just updated and rebooted my OmniOS test box:

libc.so.1 (ILLUMOS_0.57) => (version not found)
Ok, so r151054 is too old then unfortunately to continue running trunk
packages. You'll need to either:
- Upgrade OmniOS to r151056 or r151058 (both are stable releases)
- Downgrade pkgsrc to 2025Q4.
Also, why is this linking problem specific to those gd and imagick
modules and not any of the other I reported as installed? Weird.
The ILLUMOS_0.57 requirement comes from here:
https://github.com/illumos/illumos-gate/blob/master/usr/src/lib/libc/port/mapfile-vers
Specifically this section:
SYMBOL_VERSION ILLUMOS_0.57 {
protected:
localeconv_l;
wcsftime_l;
strtof_l;
strtod_l;
strtold_l;
string_to_decimal_l;
} ILLUMOS_0.56;
This means that those php modules now depend on at least one of these
new locale functions.
Sometimes functions are probed during build and used only if available,
and sometimes they are a hard requirement (one of the reasons why I need
to update the baseline every so often, otherwise the software is simply
unavailable). Depending on the build system, and if they are optional,
then you may be able to build them yourself.
Unfortunately it looks like these functions were added just days after
the r151054 release was branched:
https://github.com/illumos/illumos-gate/commit/4f2483e5d0c339c7ac30db66a67c108da0b33ca6
and so it just missed out.
