RE: NetBSD 11 beta users: please update base and rebuild pkgs
Hi Martin,
"If you are running bulk builds for 11.0, it would be best to also rebuild everything using libpthread or libcrypto."
Do we have some easy way to check such dependency of installed packages?
Thanks,

Subject: NetBSD 11 beta users: please update base and rebuild pkgs
Hey folks,
if you are building pkgsrc pkgs on NetBSD 11.0_BETA, please note that we have pulled up fixes to the libcrypto build system in base. This means that not everything using libcrypto from base needs to also link against libpthread. But the fix came with small fallout: libpthread went from version 1.5 to 1.6.
If you plan to use your pkgs later and for other 11.x machines it would be a good idea to update your 11.0_BETA installation to the latest avilable build now.
If you are running bulk builds for 11.0, it would be best to also rebuild everything using libpthread or libcrypto.
Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. We normally do not allow such pullups on stable branches, but since 11.0 is (unfortunately) still in beta stage this got an exception.
Luckily with this resolved we can proceed with the release cycle now.
Martin
