duplicate PKGBASE entries

Hi all,

Running pkgsrc on OmniOS. In one zone ("container") I see some errors in 
the log, where the main culprit seems to be:

pkg_admin: corrupt pkgdb, duplicate PKGBASE entries:
    pkg_install-20250417
    pkg_install-20201218

Trying to remove the oldest of the two fails. This package is marked as 
not for deletion, as it is essential for pkg to function.
Sure, but the oldest should be overruled by the newer one, right?

Any pointers on how to get rid of this mess are much appreciated. Tnx!
