No go.  The error message is still

Oh, BTW,

https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/writing-rust-code/update-policy.html

says that firefox 138 is built with rust 1.85.0, and minimum
version is 1.82.0.  Will try 1.85.1 next.
