I see. Indeed, it didn't bother me until recently, when I started to
work on running https://gazebosim.org/ on NetBSD. It pulls in tons of
dependencies, and libtool is touchy ...

OK. I was not sure if dependent packages in this case should be bumped
too or not. (BTW, is there a tool that lists packages using some other
one? I usually go with find/grep ...)

Right, sorry about that. I am currently using pkgsrc-2024Q4 and the
diff was against this. I did checkout HEAD for testing the patch, but
I later forgot that there had been an update in between.
