lang/libunwind failing on Alma (RHEL) 8

Heads-up to anyone interested.  I'll look into this eventually if nobody
else fixes it first, but I can't say when I'll have time.

"cannot find -lgcc_s" is a fairly common problem, but I don't recall the
solution off the top of my head.
