Is sysutils/memtestplus working?

Some years ago sysutils/memtestplus stopped working - as I recall,
there was some issue with the code generated by an updated gcc.

I haven't checked recently, but was wondering if anyone has been
able to boot an image of sysutils/memtestplus built with -current
gcc.
