GTK print dialog shows test printers 0-99?

I recently updated my extra software to packages built from pkgsrc-2023Q1.
When a GTK application such as 'gnumeric' or 'evince' opens its print
dialog, it shows the usual "Print to File" and "Print to LPR", but now
also shows "Print to test printer 0" through "Print to test printer 99".

If run from a terminal, the following messages appear _every time_ the
print dialog opens:

** Message: 15:49:58.112: TEST Backend: Adding printer 0

** Message: 15:49:58.112: TEST Backend: Adding printer 1

  [...]

** Message: 15:49:58.258: TEST Backend: Adding printer 98

** Message: 15:49:58.258: TEST Backend: Adding printer 99

Why are these suddenly appearing and how can they be made to go away?

Curiously, when one tells FireFox (110.0.1) to "Print using the system
print dialog...", the same GTK print dialog appears, but does not show
the test printers.

This is on 10.0_BETA/amd64.
