Let's be real for a moment. IPv6-only networks without access to a
DNS resolver with IPv4 are ...rare. Much rarer than the case of hosts
without IPv6 and we have enough software developers that can't even deal
with that situation (NPM, I'm looking at you!). Offering IPv6 for the
primary DNS servers of a big piece of critical infrastructure can be
challenging for various reasons. I've been told by a friendly insider
that Fastly is aware of the limitations and it is on the todo list, but
no specific ETA.
