Be aware that you are doing something that fairly few do, so you are more likely to run into trouble than if you were doing something normal. I don't mean to discourage you, but only to calibrate your expectations of works correctly vs what you might need to fix. pkgsrc as a whole benefits from making it work and testing on odd operating systems, as that shakes out portability assumptions that aren't quite right. So even though I have no HP-UX systems, I'm glad you are trying. Greg
