The IRIX community seems to still be reeling a bit from the sudden loss of their primary forum, so it may be worth pinging the couple of spin-off forums to gauge interest.

There may actually be more interest now as a result of that forum going away, too, since it took a large collection of ported software with it.

On the other hand, IRIX users seem to prefer things be manageable via SGI’s platform-native installation tools, so that may figure into community interest in pkgsrc as well, kind of the same way some Solaris users prefer SVR4 packages. Of course that wouldn’t preclude extensions to pkgsrc from packaging binaries for those platforms natively...
