add-ons for firefox

Hi!

Over the weekend I compiled www/firefox (72.0.1) on NetBSD 8.1/amd64,
just to find out that I cannot install any add-ons. Does anybody have
a work-around for this?

The add-on page returns "invalid platform", and even a manually
downloaded xpi file won't install any longer. I need at least ublock
to actually use Firefox.

There is some talk in the Mozilla fora, folks on other BSDs seem to
have the same problem:

The list of supported platforms seems to be shortened to "Linux",
"Windows", "Mac" and "Android":
