PHP & pbulk

In my sandbox mk.conf, I have PHP_VERSION_DEFAULT=72, and pbulk runs
would just build php72-.* variants of packages. Recently pbulk has
started building all the php variants (and failing on 56, which has
made this obvious).

Any idea what happened?
