I looked in http://www,netbsd,org/changes/pkg-changes.html

and didn't see cups 1.7.3 update as of June 3 at 18:31:30 which I believe is 
UTC, but will look at my next cvs checkout or update of pkgsrc.

I noticed on www.cups.org that cups 1.7.3 was dated May 27, 2014.

I am now in FreeBSD 10.0-STABLE i386 USB 3.0 stick installation, no cvs though 
I could build it from FreeBSD ports if desired.  FreeBSD switched to subversion.

FreeBSD ports tree still has messed-up cups-base version 1.7.2.
