It did get applied, as revision 1.5. But it has not been applied to 2014Q1. HEAD does build on osx 10.9, but 2014Q1 fails. As for process, sending here and following up works pretty well. If you file a PR, that's fine too, and it ensures that your report is not "lost", but does not ensure that it will get looked at. I will request a pullup.
