centerim-4.22.9 doesnt open textfield for chat

Hi List,
probably I am doing something wrong, but the current centerim-package
doesnt allow me to switch to the chat-textfield (its supposed to open by
selecting a buddy with the enter-key). Its the same effect with and
without X11 (using rxvt).

Is there something wrong with this package? Has anybody tried centerim
recently and discovered the same trouble?
