Neither do I:
# cat .gtkrc-2.0
gtk-print-backends="cups,file"

?
The issue is that firefox seems to expect that some icons are always be
available and you get this messages when they are not available.
I asume in my case a message windows was about to open but it did not
happen and so i got this message.
