wine memory fault

First, thanks for your work.
Then, my problem. I finally got winecfg to work ( wine was built from 
2006Q3 with X11_TYPE=xorg ). I can configure wine... which I can't get 
to work. Each time I try to exec  it, I have a 'memory fault' message.
Should i try to build it with a specific option ?
