>Description:
Hello,
I believe there is a problem with SDL2 and X11 in pkgsrc-2026Q3 on NetBSD.
After updating my system to pkgsrc-2026Q3, applications that use SDL2 library create a corrupted/transparent X11 window. The desktop contents that were in the place where the program window is placed are copyied to the window and can be moved with it. I first noticed the problem with
QEMU 11.1.1 and DOSBox-X. QEMU built here with the GTK3 display backend
works correctly, while its SDL display backend shows the corrupted
window.
Every program that uses SDL2 library is broken, at least here. For example games/sdlpop is also not usable.
Thanks so much.
>How-To-Repeat:
Just try to use any SDL2 dependent program.
>Fix:
I do not know.
