>Description:
When extracting easy-rsa-3.2.7 with EXTRACT_USING=bsdtar, the extraction fails with the following error:
EasyRSA-3.2.7/gpl-2.0.txt: Cannot restore extended attributes: com.apple.metadata:kMDItemTextContentLanguage com.apple.metadata:kMDItemTextContentLanguage: Unknown error: -1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.
The error appears to be caused by an attempt to restore a macOS-specific extended attribute (com.apple.metadata:kMDItemTextContentLanguage) included in the distribution archive.
As a temporary workaround, setting EXTRACT_USING=gtar allows the package source to be extracted successfully. However, this does not address the underlying issue with the distribution archive.
