System: NetBSD optimus.soqforest.home.arpa 11.0 NetBSD 11.0 (GENERIC) #0: Thu Jul 30 15:23:12 UTC 2026 mkrepro%mkrepro.NetBSD.org@localhost:/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64
Architecture: x86_64
Machine: amd64
>Description:
In Rhythmbox, if one opens Preferences->Plugins and clicks the box for 'Grilo media browser' (the only box not checked by default) the application immediately crashes and cannot be relaunched. When attempting to launch from the command line the following output is seen:

(rhythmbox:13538): libsoup-ERROR **: 19:08:54.274: libsoup2 symbols detected. Using libsoup2 and libsoup3 in the same process is not supported.
Abort trap (core dumped) rhythmbox

If it is launched from the command line with 'rhythmbox --disable-plugins' it launches without issue. However, the Preferences->Plugins dialog is then empty, making it impossible to uncheck Grilo.
>How-To-Repeat:
Go to Preferences->Plugins and check the box for 'Grilo media browser'.
>Fix:
Removing the file ~/.config/dconf/user allows Rhythmbox to be launched in its default state (with Grilo not checked).
