Architecture: sh3el
Machine: landisk
>Description:
The Makefile for sysutils/ups-nut says:
# nut looks aggressively for asciidoc in a way that is hard to turn off,
# and builds html docs. asciidoc isn't that big, so just depend on it.
TOOL_DEPENDS+= asciidoc-[0-9]*:../../textproc/asciidoc
While that is true, to build ascidoc you need full python, which
includes sqlite and various stuff that takes many hours to build
on small machines.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to build a ups-nut client on a tiny machine.
>Fix:
Mostly an upstream problem, I will file an issue there.
But: ups-nut has a "python" option, that is totally voided
by this dependency.
