NetBSD jaervinen-915p-0.jaervinen 11.99.6 NetBSD 11.99.6 (GENERIC) #0: Wed Jun 24 16:13:21 UTC 2026 mkrepro%mkrepro.NetBSD.org@localhost/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC amd64
>Description:
As of NetBSD 11.99.6 (better known as `11.0_RC5`) some weeks ago, installed via the amd64 `boot.iso`, the `nano` editor still can't be installed with `pkgin`, instead complains about a missing dependency, that seems to had never even existed in the tree, as far as <https://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/current/pkgsrc/index-all.html> seems to imply. Compiling from the `pkgsrc` tree on `11.0_RC5` or installing on `11.0_RC4`, at least back in my old installations of both versions, works perfectly.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install `nano` (`nano-8.7.1`) using `pkgin`.
