Not sure of what I am saying, I have to investigate it further. Could this be related to my problems with video acceleration in firefox? In my Thinkpad x260 I upgraded to 11.0-RC2 , edited firefox 145 setting to use hw acceleration and it worked. I assumed that it was due to the 11 0rc2 update.
 I updated my Intel NUC 8i7 to 11.0-RC2 and firefox acceleration did not work. I removed mesa cache, set locale to C and firefox acceleration in YouTube videos was fine!.
