Well, that is one way of looking at it.
Another is that apparently the mSATA drive in my 10.0 pkgsrc bulk
build host (a PPC Mac Mini) wore out, and it's still sitting
there waiting for me to "start from scratch" again (I have a new
mSATA card, but have not yet collected the energy to act on it).
