 You're right that it's a bug, at least in the documentation: According 
 to mount_msdos(8), option -U forces -l. But it's not true on my system 
 because I must explicitly pass -l even if -U is already passed.
 
 Thank you for your help! I now have the expected behavior by passing 
 option -l.
 
 Maybe another ticket should be opened but I am not sure if it's a sw-bug 
 or a doc-bug...
