>Description:
Installed samba4 4.19.5 binary via pkgin and joined an AD domain. wbinfo -u confirms AD users are returned. However, running getent passwd does not return the AD users as expected.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install samba4 via pkgin. Set up samba4 to join AD Domain. Am able to join domain, can query domain successfully with all net tools, i.e., wbinfo -u returns AD users. However the nsswitch integration does not work. Firstly, the library seems to be named incorrectly. The installed library is libnss_winbind.so. Running ktruss confirms expected library name is nss_winbind.so.0. So I created a symlink. I can then confirm the library is opened. However it does not appear it is accessed. Running getent passwd does not return the users as expected. I have the exact same setup for samba4 on a freebsd system and it works as expected.
