 Hi,

 I just tried this on a 9.2 stable from about a month ago with cwm-6.7
 and for me it works as expected. With an empty .cwmrc, I press
 ctrl-return and nothing happens (so nothing is bound to this key
 combination per default). With a .cwmrc containing merely the
 following line:

   bind-key C-Return xterm

 pressing ctrl-return in cwm launches xterm. I have not made any
 changes whatsoever in /usr/X11R{6,7}:

   $ ls -l /usr/*/include/X11/keysymdef.h
   -r--r--r--  1 root  wheel  175248 Jul 11 16:13 /usr/X11R7/include/X11/keysymdef.h

 Something also seems off in your line -- "4" is not a valid modifier
 key.

 The "X11R6" in the manpage indeed looks like a documentation bug and
 should perhaps be X11BASE, but I don't think there is a functional
 issue.

   Harold
