 This doesn't sound like a package problem.
 
 Have you tried rebuilding it since?
 It looks like snmp touches /dev/mem, which netbsd makes weaker
 guarantees about compatibility on it.
 
 It's not normal to break it on stable, but it was absolutely necessary
 in this case.
