 Right now I had reinstalled HEAD and tested the symbolizer issue--it works!  Thank you very much for this!!!
 
 I'll now install pkgsrc HEAD, if the ncursesw issue was there I'll test it later.  If it was base related I'll test it one week later after reinstall base.
