 % sh -c 'echo $LINENO'
 1
 
 Anyway, I can repeat the failure you see by configuring outside pkgsrc
 (unsurprisingly) but I get correct line numbers in config.log.
 
 That's with a -current sh from some time back, though, so maybe
 someone broke it.
