I applied your patch (btw, please submit your patch in the form of a patch in the future :)).

I had to make quite a few changes. May I suggest the following in the future:

- set PKG_DEVELOPER=yes in your mk.conf and fix the warnings from that.
- Run pkglint and fix its warnings and errors.
- Do not edit RCS IDs. CVS manages them.
