Since "libgthread-2.0.so.0" was the most recently mentioned library in
 the backtrace, I rebuilt "devel/glib2".

In the next attempt to build "gobject-introspection", it was discovered
that "python2.7" also died (with an almost identical backtrace to the
local "g-ir-compiler" tool). Rebuilding "lang/python27" had no effect.

A mysterious "GLib-2.0.core" file was also present. So far the only
matching files I've found is "/usr/pkg/share/gir-1.0/GLib-2.0.gir" and
 "/usr/pkg/lib/girepository-1.0/GLib-2.0.typelib".

In case it matters, my build hosts for -current are semi-diskless. The
entire system is on NFS with an auxilliary FFS filesystem on local disk.
The amd64 system puts ${WRKOBJDIR} on /tmp (tmpfs) and the i386 system
puts ${WRKOBJDIR} on the local auxilliary FFS filesystem.
