With the fix for PR 50902 (freetype-related build failure) a further
msgfmt build failure appears:

   /usr/pkgsrc/fonts/fontforge/work/.tools/bin/msgfmt --check --output-file=ml.mo ml.po
   /usr/bin/msgfmt: <stdin>: some header fields still have the initial default value
   /usr/bin/msgfmt: <stdin>: field `Language-Team' still has initial default value

both on -7 and at least some -current.
