Darwin ed.technoskunk.fur 8.11.0 Darwin Kernel Version 8.11.0: Wed Oct 10 18:26:00 PDT 2007; root:xnu-792.24.17~1/RELEASE_PPC Power Macintosh powerpc

>Description:
multimedia/libvpx no-longer configures properly for powerpc targets.

Comparing libvpx 1.5 (pkgsrc-2015Q4, -HEAD) and libvpx 1.4
(pkgsrc-2015Q3) shows that all configuration support for powerpc
(and Darwin Universal Binary) targets has been removed.

Such targets default to "generic-gnu". Although it will build and
install, problems come later when a dependent package claims not to
find a "libvpx" of sufficient version.
>How-To-Repeat:
Build any package which depends on "multimedia/libvpx" from pkgsrc-2015Q4
or -HEAD on a powerpc target platform.
>Fix:
Ideally, an upstream bug report.

In the interim, I've transplanted the powerpc configuration from
the libvpx-1.4 distribution to the libvpx-1.5 configure scripts.

Patches to be included in followup email.
