 Another possibility might be just to go back to 3.23.06
 and forget 3.23.07 until it stabilises (and perhaps becomes
 3.23.08 if they use that numbering scheme).
 
 The 3.23.06 distfile is still available, and seems stable, whereas
 these 3.23.07.xxx versions seem to last about a day at most.
