NetBSD has no libc.so.7 too.
% ls /usr/lib/libc.so*
/usr/lib/libc.so /usr/lib/libc.so.12 /usr/lib/libc.so.12.190
Removing libc.so.7 entry make your firefox work properly?
What is the output of "ls /usr/lib/libc.so*"?
