Can you please try to find out why autoconf is called? pkgsrc has no patches for any autoconf source files, so there is no reason for that.
With my patch, aclocal.m4 is regenerated on Solaris, but not on NetBSD. The new file is identical to the original file. I have no idea what triggers this, though. Maybe it's another difference between NetBSD's /bin/sh and pdksh in one of the preceding tests.
