>Description:

For various reasons I need to run a tme instance with serial console emulation
(the GTK display works with limitation, but is a pain with international
keyboards).

Configuring the serial console emulation as described in the example config
asks for a dedicated pty master in the configuration - but this does not
work as expected in modern systems. It might be better to openpty() a pair
and inform the user about the slave path.

While there, note that the "not running TME as root" hints won't work in
modern systems either.
