The dependency of math/nickle to pdfjadetex does not seem to be recorded in the 
Makefile. The build of math/nickle fails:

Perhaps the dependency to pdfjadetex can be acutally completely removed? There 
would be then this dependency chain from meta-pkgs/modular-xorg -> 
meta-pkgs/modular-xorg-apps -> x11/xrandr -> math/nickle -> and then to latex. 
Requiring latex for building X would be an overkill, wouldn't it?
