 This builds if one adds:
 
 LDFLAGS+=               -liconv
 
 below the link that includes libiconv's buildlink3.mk (just like cups). We've
 really got to iron out this native VS pkgsrc iconv issue. It's a bit of a
 problem for people who build with PREFER_PKGSRC.
