Hi! I still can't reproduce the bug. 
I've checked the paths to interpreters, and fixed one that may have been set 
inappropriately.
I've also added the test target to the package, inspired by what you explained 
in the bug report. 
It works in my environment. Can you please test it in yours ? 
Running 'make test' in textproc/dblatex should be enough.
