        The nvidia video drivers haven't worked for me for the past ~3 years. 
It's about time
        I open a PR for it. The last nv driver that worked for my card was 
xf86-video-nv-2.1.14
        It's just getting annoying to be stuck in late 2008/early 2009 package 
wise because
        you cannot really upgrade anything without it trying to upgrate the 
nvidia driver! :)

        The card in question is a "vendor 0x10de product 0x042f (rev 0xa1)" 
(I'll have to
        look up the textual description...)
