 I dunno, I'd rather that if something belched while it was being
 removed we didn't delete the only available record of which particular
 wreckage in /usr/pkg belonged to it.
 
 ISTM offhand that it shouldn't be too hard to mark the package as
 partially deleted in the metadata first, delete the contents, then
 delete the metadata.
