>Description:
After running a manually installed Squeezebox-Server for years, I finally
stumbled over audio/squeezeboxserver.
I installed it today, and after worming my way through

/var/lib/squeezeboxserver ,
/usr/pkg/share/squeezeboxserver ,
/usr/pkg/etc/squeezeboxserver , and
/var/log/squeezeboxserver ,

with none of these locations having been mentioned or documented in any way,
tried to start the squeezeboxserver.

There is neither a

/usr/pkg/share/doc/squeezeboxserver

nor a

/usr/pkg/share/examples/squeezeboxserver.

Next thing I noticed was a NEWLY started mysqld-instance next to my already
running one. This is very inconvenient, to put it mildly.
And then the next thing was a crash:

Can't call method "log" on an undefined value at
/usr/pkg/lib/squeezeboxserver/CPAN/Log/Log4perl/Appender.pm line 189.

After this, there's no squeezeboxserver anymore. And it happens everytime, I
launch the squeezeboxserver.

I have fallen back to my manually installed one, at the moment, which neither
starts any new mysqld-instance, nor crashes with logging-problems, but of
course, that is no solution.

>How-To-Repeat:
- install squeezeboxserver
  # cd audio/squeezeboxserver
  # make install

- copy pkg/share/examples/rc.d/squeezeboxserver to /etc/rc.d/
- edit /etc/rc.conf and add the line
  squeezeboxserver=YES
- start squeezeboxserver
  # /etc/rc.d/squeezeboxserver start

- wait. The crashing won't take long.
>Fix:
Add documentation about paths, configuration etc.
Add at least the docs provided by the original package.

How to solve the crashing-problem is unknown to me, as I have no idea what
exactly causes it. It only happens in the version installed via pkgsrc, not in
any version installed from the vendor.
