Portable mtree used to be available. NetBSD used to host
mtree-20040722

The new code is not in a tarball. But the source is included
with pkgsrc checkout.

As far as I know mtree isn't used anymore for bootstrapping
and the source files included in pkgsrc are not needed.

mtree should probably me moved from pkgtools category as it
is not a "package tool".

Portable mtree source tarball with configure script and needed
dependencies should be provided again.

Some Linux users sometimes ask about finding mtree and are often
pointed to a very old pkgsrc bootstrap package to provide it.
