 Hi,

 I noticed that
        file /usr/pkg/libexec/octave/3.2.3/oct/i486--netbsdelf/find.oct
 displays:
 /usr/pkg/libexec/octave/3.2.3/oct/i486--netbsdelf/find.oct: ELF 32-bit
LSB executable, Intel 80386, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses
shared libs), for NetBSD 5.99.24, stripped

This is true for all .oct files. I'm pretty sure they need to be shared
 objects and not executables.

 Regards, Matthias
