 It means pkgsrc will supply and link with an up-to-date X11 userland.
 You still need the native X server for proprietary graphics
 accelerators. This is supposed to work in general, although you may
 have to install meta-pkgs/modular-xorg-fonts if the native font paths
 aren't dealt with.
 
 You can still set X11_TYPE=native in mk.conf if you wish.
 libXpm is supposed to work also with native X11 on HEAD.
