System: IRIX64 halo 6.5 6.5.29m 01090133 IP30
Architecture: mipseb
Machine: mipseb
>Description:
The commit described here:

http://mail-index.netbsd.org/pkgsrc-changes/2009/05/30/msg024150.html

breaks compiling using the MIPSpro compiler on IRIX

(/usr/bin/cc is merely a frontend that executes the actual program with a
relative path; and thus cannot find them)

Example error:

cc ERROR: cc is not installed in
/usr/pkgsrc/bootstrap/work/wrk/devel/bmake/wotk/.mipspro/bin/../../usr/lib32/cmplrs/cc

>How-To-Repeat:
Attempt to build a package or bootstrap pkgsrc on a system using MIPSpro
>Fix:
Set COMPILER_USE_SYMLINKS to no
